It reads like a sensible and worthwhile amount of exercise. Just stick at it and you'll see a difference soon enough - just not in the first fortnight. As your stamina will inevitably increase, you will soon be able to exercise harder and for longer and so you will be able to burn a lot more energy in each session. Besides, exercising is not just about losing weight - you're going to be doing your heart and general fitness a huge favour, however many pounds you lose.
